Chief Executive Officer
Hey! My name is Abhishek Bhagat! I am extremely passionate about Speech & Debate and political advocacy. As a debater, I have competed at TFA State twice, making semi-finals once. I have also competed at NSDA Nationals once and I will be competing for the second time this summer. I am ranked top 50 in the state of Texas for Congressional Debate. I am really excited to work with everyone within this organization. I love debating foreign policy the most. When I am not competing, you can find me eating, sleeping, or watching movies.
Chief Operations Officer
Hey! My name is Vibhu Kanna! I really enjoy Speech and Debate and its communal relationship. I co-founded this organization! As a debater, I have competed at TFA State twice, making semi-finals both times in Congressional Debate and quarter-finals in International Extemp. I have also competed at the Tournament of Champions last year and qualified this year. I will also be competing in NSDA Nationals this summer. I am ranked top 50 in the state of Texas for Congressional Debate. I hope to have some fun with everyone, and get to know you well! When I am not competing, you can find me gaming, learning, or watching youtube.
Curriculum Director
My name is Landon Moore and this is my 2nd year in the speech and debate experience. Why I find congress to be the most entertaining event is it’s uniqueness from other debate events in that congressional debaters are better able to express their personality and interact with the audience (judges and fellow debaters) in many fun ways, sometimes leading to hilarious moments. Also, the endless possibilities of bills to debate ensures that you always have the opportunity to have a completely new experience each congress round. I was introduced to DMA through my fellow teammates at Jordan High School and am happy to pass down what experience and knowledge I have to my students that are the future of Speech and Debate. This debate season, I have qualified for TFA State and NSDA nationals. When I’m not busy with school or debate, I play video games, watch tv, and root for the Houston Astros!
Curriculum Coach
Hi! I am Nihilesh Pari and I am the curriculum coach for DMA. As a debater, I have competed at UIL State and TFA State twice, making semi-finals in Congressional Debate. As an extemper, I am ranked Top 50 in the state of Texas, am a 2-time National Individual Event Tournament of Champions qualifier as well as an octo-finalist, and am a 2-time NSDA Nationals qualifier, going this summer to Arizona to compete once again. Additionally, I am a 2-time Tournament of Champions qualifier in both Extemporaneous Speaking and Congressional Debate. When I am not preparing for or traveling to tournaments, you can catch me watching shows, reading a book, or playing chess. I hope to meet every one of you and watch you grow into amazing speakers and debaters.

My name is Jayden Yu and I am the Community Outreach Manager. It is my job to make sure that our organization is being as transparent as we can be to the general public informing people through discussion posts and social media on events, future endeavors, and more. My goals are to let you find passion and creativity in the world of public speaking and to gain confidence in abilities that branch out further than just Speech and Debate.

Hello everyone, I am Karim Al Kharsa and I am the secretary for DMA. I have been competing in congressional debate for 2 years and qualifying to TFA State both years. I am ranked top 60 in the state of texas for congressional debate as well as an alternate for NSDA nationals. When I am not competing or preparing for tournaments you can catch me playing video games, watching sports, or watching TV. I cannot wait to meet all of you and watch you grow into amazing debators!
